Ergonomic stepladder, made of all anodised aluminium. Portable, collapsible, self-supporting. Suited to most different appliances: industrial, military, professional, warehouses, office and home. Unvaried design since 1982: anodized aluminium, red synthetic rubber pads; exceeds OSHA and EN ratings. Comes in aluminium as well as in insulating material as well as in dissipative material.

Ergonomic Ladder - SKYLAX Standard

"Ergonomic" means the product regards the psycho-physical limits of a person. Possible criteria of an ergonomic ladder are: 

- low weight (less than 20 kg) 

- large steps (surface at least 0.07 m2) 

- steps/treads laterally open and not closed by rails 

- self-locking positioning 

- positioning without instruction 

- colour design

- low density = light weight (one third the density of steel) 
- high specific strength (strength  to weight ratio) 
Resistance to corrosion - remember: It takes approximately 9 to 10 Kilowatt hours of electricity to make each pound of aluminium.
