ESD anti-static Chairs
ESD chairs provide protection to sensitive electronic components and are commonly found in production or I.T. repair and refurbishment areas. It is well known that static electricity can destroy a processor and even if the damage is not immediately apparent the electronic components can have there life spans drastically reduced.
Static Safe Chairs - Fabric
ESD seating must demonstrate a sound electrical continuity path. This is achieved throughout the structure of these chairs, without earth straps which are prone to damage. Both surfaces of the seat and back pads are covered in an ESD fabric that contains a continuous carbon filament that will not wear. Non-marking glides are moulded in a conductive polymer ensuring continuity with the conductive elements of antistatic flooring.
