Forklift Mounted Jibs and Cranes

When a greater lift height is required or a lift over a static obstruction, the High Lifting Jib is the perfect solution, with the same attributes as the carriage Mounted Jib.

Centre of gravity at 410 or 430 mm

Low Liner Jib

An inexpensive jib which gives longer reach capabilities for picking up a product which is difficult to palletize or for handling motors, press tools etc. from positions which are hard to access.

Operation

• Remove existing forks from forklift carriage.
• Position the Jib so as the load beam is parallel to the finish floor level.
• Remove the quick release bottom hangers by pulling out the safety ‘R’ clip and retracting the retaining pin.
• Position the forklift behind the Jib backplate and centralize the forklift carriage with the jib backplate.
• Whilst raising the forklift carriage, tilt the mast back to the vertical position until the attachment is clear of the finish floor level.
• Reposition the quick release bottom hangers, ensuring the safety ‘R’ clip is correctly inserted.
• Position the swivel hook and shackle to the desired lifting point, ensuring that the shackle is adequately tightened.
• The attachment is now ready for use.

Fork Mounted Jib

A fixed length jib which mounts onto the forks of any truck. The ideal attachment for lifting and conveying loads which are not suitable for, or do not require, palletizing.

Carriage Mounted Jib

One of our most popular carriage mounted forklift and telehandler jib, the Easy Reach forklift jib comes with a low beam profile to allow access in to confined spaces.

Mounted directly to the carriage of the forklift truck or telehandler, our carriage mounted jibs provide the solution to converting your lift truck or telehandler into a dedicated lifting crane.

The forklift jib is 1800 mm long and comes with various lifting points on the underside to allow for adjustment when handling loads of different lengths

• Mounts directly onto truck carriage so forklift can be positioned closer to the load
• Jib rated to suit the capacity of the lift truck, reducing wear and tear on the lift truck and possibility of overloading
• Multiple hook positions for flexible load handling whilst reducing handling costs

Forklift Jib Attachment

When height is not at a premium, but maximum lift capacity is critical, the Fork Mounted Jib allows the movement of long and awkward loads from inaccessible locations with the potential of 4 different lifting centres.

Operation

• Position the forks to the correct distance apart to locate into fork pockets.
• Remove the heel pins from the attachment.
• Drive the forks into the fork pockets.
• Insert fork pocket heel pins directly behind the heel of the fork and attach safety lynch pin into hole provided.
• Position the swivel hook and shackle to the desired lifting point, ensuring that the shackle is adequately tightened.
• The attachment is now ready for use.

Standard Features

• Multi hook positioning from 1000-1750 load centres
• Supplied complete with single swivel hook and bow shackle
• Maximum fork section 150 × 50 mm at 435 mm centres
• Zinc plated heel pins for safe attachment to truck
• Painted bright orange for safety
