Hydraulic road block barriers are suitable for both manned and unmanned barriers and provide a formidable deterrent to unwanted visitors or intruders. Manufactured from a welded hollow steel section frame and durbar top plate, our Road Blockers and Rising Kerbs feature a hydraulic power pack and drive ram system to raise and lower the unit smoothly.
Our Rising Kerbs and Road Blockers are available in two grades, 3 tonnes and 12 tonnes, and seven sizes, and are all finished in a galvanized and fully painted environmental protection system.
Hydraulic Road Barriers 2.0 and 2.5 m - 3000 kg
Available in two sizes 2.0m and 2.5m, the Hydraulic Rising Kerb is capable of withstanding axle weights of three tonnes (Type A).
The 3 tonne Road Blocker has a 3.0 second opening time and an ‘optional’ Manual Hand Pump for Raise, accumulator for rapid opening (1.0 sec).
A state of the art programmable logic controller co-ordinates the hydraulics, access control and traffic light signalling system. During power failure, an emergency lowering facility is incorporated as standard with all our 3 tonne Road Blockers.
A variety of access control options are available including, proximity card, radio, token, keypad and intercom. These combined with induction loop or photocell safety and close facilities, ensure the 3 tonne Rising Kerbs open and close smoothly on each activation.
British designed and manufactured, all our 3 tonne Road Blockers and Rising Kerbs conform to BS6571 and are CE Approved. Controlled via a powerful hydraulic pump and drive ram system, under the control of its own PLC.
