The hangers are supplied in various lengths and can be stored in a wide range of versatile carriers.

Both wall-mounted and mobile carriers are available.  Hangers can be easily removed from the carrier and taken to where they are needed – in the office or on site if required.

The drawing and plan storage system are in use in drawing offices and on site throughout the country. It is a proven system – easy, convenient and cost-effective.

The Drawing Hanger

The hanger has been designed to meet the demand of today's drawing storage requirements and is suitable for use in the office as well as on site.

Hangers have a capacity of up to 100 sheets, depending on paper weight and the type of storage unit used. Hangers can store mixed paper sizes and drawings do not need to be fitted with plan strips. They are available in 3 lengths to accommodate all popular drawing sizes, including CAD plots.

For reference purposes, individual sheets can be flipped through like the pages of a book, without the need to open the hanger. The robust hanger is made of lightweight aluminium and is finished in an attractive durable powder coated textured grey finish. Drawing hanging systems are known as stick filing in the United States.

Junior Plan man drawing and Compact plan storage 

Compact Wall Carrier – This unit is suitable when a permanent filing location is required and space is at a premium. Accommodating up to 300 sheets depending upon paper weight, thickness, and wall construction.  This unit is supplied with 6 hangers (of your choice) each with a carrying handle. 

Junior Plan man – This wall-mounted unit will accommodate 2 hangers of any type, giving a capacity of up to 100 sheets, depending on paper weight and wall structure. Ideal as a small filing system or visual display, the Junior is compatible with other hanger systems, allowing it to be used as a personal reference point. The Junior Plan man will accept hangers with or without carrying handles.

Ideal as a small filing system or visual display, the Junior is compatible with other hanger systems, allowing it to be used as a personal reference point.

Wall Carrier for drawing and plan storage hangers

This Multi Prong Wall Unit is ideal for use where frequent single sheet retrieval is required. With a capacity of up to 500 sheets, it is available in 2 sizes – A1 and A0. Fitted with a high-quality steel ball race slider mechanism.

Multi hole plan strip is used with this unit to store your drawings. Sold in 30 mm x 100 m rolls, the plan strip is simply cut to the size required.

Multi Prong Wallets are designed to protect your drawings whilst being stored within the systems.

Trolley Carrier for drawing and plan storage

This high-capacity carrier maximizes the number of drawings stored per square metre of floor space, and is easily manoeuvred around the office. It will hold a maximum of 20 hangers, fitted with or without handles, and offers a capacity of up to 2000 sheets, depending on paper weight.

Front-Loading Trolley Carrier for drawing and plan storage

This front-loading mobile trolley unit accommodates 20 hangers with handles, which can be of mixed sizes. Hangers can be easily removed or replaced, giving a capacity of approximately 1500 sheets depending on the paperweight.

Please note that the Front-Loading trolley carrier will only accommodate hangers with handles.  In addition, please note that the Wall Carrier can be ordered with or without Drawing Hangers.

Mobile Display Carrier 

The Mobile Display Trolley Carrier allows hangers to pivot for easy access and removal. Accommodating up to 20 hangers of any size, giving a maximum capacity of 1500 sheets depending on the paperweight.

Hangers shown in the photograph have the optional handles, however, the unit will accept hangers without handles.

Multi-Prong Wall Unit

This wall unit is ideally suited to situations where space is at a premium. With a capacity of up to 500 sheets, it is available in 2 sizes to suit specific filing requirements.

The range of heavy-duty polypropylene wallets provides added protection to important drawings. Available for use with the multi-prong systems.
