Mobile shelving systems offer space saving of up to 70% which means that you can use the same space rather than allocate more of your building or relocating. We have three types of mobile shelving Trackless, Heavy Duty and Medium Duty.
Advantages of mobile shelving systems in the workspace.
Based on a nominal room size of 5.5 x 4 metres, 32 four drawer filing cabinets would provide approximately 76 linear metres of filing as shown above.
Mobile shelving increases that filing capacity to 205 linear metres. When a document is required the particular shelving bay is identified and an adjacent aisle created by moving the mobile shelving units apart.
Alternatively the Mobile shelving can reduce the space required for storage. Up to 50% of the floor space
can be released for other uses such as office space when compared with filing cabinets and 38% more with static shelving.
Trackless Mobile Shelving
Trackless mobile shelving is installed with only one guide rail, fixed along the rear of the system. This
leaves clear unobstructed aisles removing potential trip hazards and obstacles for trolleys or steps.
Designed with commercial and office based environments in mind, our Trackless Mobile Shelving range is quick and simple to install, as it only uses one guide rail along the rear of the system, which removes the need for fixed tracks, helping leave unobstructed aisles and reduces trip hazards.
This streamlined construction makes our trackless mobile storage system easier to clean, as the grooves and crevices that catch dirt and dust are removed. It also uses Activecoat anti-microbial technology, to limit the spread of harmful bacteria, making it a hygienic, as well as low maintenance option.
The main advantage of all mobile shelving systems, including our trackless range, over other storage solutions, is the space they save in the workplace. By reducing the floor space used to store the same amount as static shelving, or increasing the overall storage capacity available within the same space, they are perfect for any modern office or commercial environment.
Mobile shelving can be operated by a choice of push and pull handles or a mechanical system.
Fast to install - no disruption to your business
Absence of tracks also helps streamline the cleaning process, removing grooves and crevices that catch debris.
